Coming to earth is a fall, coming into the body and living in bondage, full of limitations and weakness. The body is armor for the soul. The soul must endure punishment on earth. On its own, it is all-powerful, but it is restraining the body. The body is a perfect fit on one side and absolutely imperfect on the other.
People are afraid of parting from a body that they have somehow come to terms with spending a period of time in it, and they do not see death as a freedom to return to life without restraint.
True happiness does not exist in life on earth in this body. We are souls trapped in our bodies. The body limits us. True happiness can only be felt when the soul does its task in the body on earth and leaves it. Only after separation from the body does the soul become free and all-powerful
